Multi-talented singer and songwriter, Zandie Khumalo, is finally taking the centre stage as a leading solo artist. Zandie Khumalo’s debut single titled Themba, sold over 3000 units in just two days on iTunes upon its release. The song resonates with people of all ages and is already pegged to be a classic South African love song.

2017 is set to be a notable year for Zandie Khumalo as she gears up to release more music and solidify herself in the music industry with the release of her debut album in March.

Music has always played a pivotal role in Zandie Khumalo’s life as she comes from a musical family. Her mother Ntombi Khumalo was a great singer during her younger days but she never pursued it as a career. However it was watching her older sister, Kelly Khumalo, take the music industry by storm in 2007, that created the spark in Zandie Khumalo to want to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

After finishing High School, Zandie Khumalo became a personal stylist, backup singer and manager to her sister which she has done up until now.

Zandie Khumalo known to her postman as Lorraine Zandile Khumalo decided to do what some might call ”Test the market” and entered a talent search competition CAN DO staged by the legendary Arthur Mafokate.

After securing a runner up spot on the CAN DO talent search competition she knew she was on the right track. In October 2016 Zandie Khumalo released her highly anticipated debut single titled Themba which received a great reception and sold over 3000 units in just two days on iTunes.

Zandie Khumalo is a highly versatility artist and aims to leave her own trail in the music industry.
